10/30/16 Missionary Fireside

Tonight we had a fireside on missionary work.  Different members were asked to bring displays about their missions.  Everyone walked around and viewed them, then some were asked to answer, “Why did you choose to serve a mission?” and “What was the greatest lesson you learned?”  The Spirit was so strong.  Many commented on how much they enjoyed the night and our ward unity was increased.

10/6/16 Hurricane Matthew

We experienced a scare with the anticipation of Hurricane Matthew.  Gratefully, it did not fall on land like predicted.  Heavenly Father truly directed the eye of the storm out to sea.
